About AHC Consulting
Founded by Allison Hawk, AHC Consulting LLC is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) that provides strategic communications, planning, training and facilitation services to a variety of clients in St. Louis and beyond.
Prior to the 2006 formation of AHC Consulting, Allison served as the Director of Corporate Communications and Community Outreach for the St. Louis Rams. Her leadership helped create a unique brand of strategic sports philanthropy, including the formation of the Healthy Youth Partnership, a collaboration of more than 75 organizations addressing the issue of childhood obesity.
From 1989 to 1997, she was an award winning public relations professional at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. During her tenure at Fleishman-Hillard, she played a role in the approval and opening of the Edward Jones Dome, the Kiel Center and the MetroLink light rail system.
AHC has worked with a variety of clients on numerous projects including the rebranding of GO! St. Louis, the creation of the Coro Connected Women speaker series, national work for The Sports Philanthropy Project, with whom Allison conducted a webinar for Major League Baseball’s community relations professionals, and the development, oversight and the launch of Three60Gear website.

Talking a Good Game
In 2013, Allison Hawk coauthored a book called Talking a Good Game: a Guide to Sports Talk in the US Workplace. An informative and entertaining guide to American sports and sports culture, the book offers a mix of must-know information about all major American spectator sports and provides readers some common sense communications techniques for using sports to make valuable business connections.
