By way of Minneapolis and Omaha, I moved to St. Louis after graduating from Creighton University in 2015. I chose to move to St. Louis because I saw a community that was working with urgency to better itself. I viewed the racial equity and community empowerment work being done here as having the potential to not only benefit St. Louis but to have wider national implications. My time here has only reinforced this belief. In previous roles I taught elementary school in St. Louis Public Schools, was a Coro Fellow in the 2017-2018 cohort, and worked in campus recruitment for a national education nonprofit. In my free time, I love to workout, follow sports, try new restaurants, garden, host Airbnb guests, and explore the region with my fiance Courtney and dogs Kit and Benson.
